Spring Flowers Felted Pod -Wet Felting
Sunday, April 5th | 10:00 AM – 3:30 PM | $125
Celebrate the change of season by creating a sculptural, three-dimensional vessel inspired by the first blooms of spring. Working with a palette of spring colours, you will be invited to layer fine wool fibres to evoke watercolour-like impressions of spring flowers. I will guide you through the process of using a "resist" to build your form through wet felting—the tactile art of using wool, with soap and water, and agitation to transform loose fibres into a solid, seamless pod.
Be prepared for a truly hands-on experience! Wet felting is an active process that relies on plenty of elbow grease through repeated rolling and agitation by hand. If you have any concerns about the physical nature of the process, I’m happy to chat more about what to expect.
Please pack a lunch to enjoy during our midday break.

You are welcome to create any landscape of your choosing—perhaps an ocean scene, a spring meadow, or a sunset above treed hills. You can bring a photo for inspiration, though I will also have plenty of pictures for reference.
