Adult Workshops

Join me for a relaxing time in the studio this winter!

A cozy, unhurried way to spend a Saturday, leaning into creativity to keep the winter blahs away. I find these workshops are a wonderful, relaxing time to connect with your own creativity and with others. I always enjoy the conversation and laughter we share while learning together!

These workshops are designed for all levels of experience. I provide step-by-step instruction and assistance when needed-and I also encourage participants to use their imaginations and make their own creative choices.

Fees include all specialized tools and materials -plus tea and cookies!

Workshops take place in the cozy Evergreen Studio. Please note: two friendly cats live here too!

Wet Felted Woolly Art

Saturday, Jan 31 |10:00 AM – 3:00 PM | $95

Come spend a cozy day with me experimenting with the magic of wet felting. We will "paint" with soft wool and silk fibers, playing with colour and texture to create a piece of felted artwork that is uniquely yours. This workshop is a fun, inspiring, and relaxing introduction to wet felting.

Spun Cotton Love Bug

Discover the vintage charm of spun cotton! In this artful workshop, I will guide you through the process of building an armature, sculpting with cotton, and bringing your sweet Love Bug character to life with vibrant watercolours. Celebrate the love of handmade with this nostalgic craft.

Needle Felted Bear

Saturday, Feb 14 | 10:00 AM – 4:00 PM | $95

Give yourself some love this Valentine’s Day with a creative day of warm and fuzzy felting—it’s the crafting version of a bear hug! You’ll get to choose from a wide variety of gorgeous colours and be guided step-by-step in felting your very own wooly bear.

Spun Cotton Horse

Saturday, Feb 21 | 10:00 AM – 3:00 PM | $80

Join me for a an inspiring studio session celebrating the beauty and grace of the horse. Using the traditional craft of spun cotton, I will show you how to sculpt an elegant equine form and finish your piece with soft watercolours. A lovely way to mark the Lunar Year of the Horse.

Wet Felted Vessel

Saturday, Feb 28 | 10:00 AM – 4:00 PM | $125

In this session, you will learn how to transform wool fibres into a three-dimensional form using the wet felting on a resist method. I will guide you through every step of designing and creating your own one-of-a-kind felted vessel. You'll have plenty of time to experiment with wool, silk, and other luxurious fibres in a array of colours to create unique designs and rich textures.
