Full Day Arts Enrichment

Nurturing, full-day weekly programs where young artists gather to imagine, experiment, and learn. Evergreen Connections emphasizes gentle guidance, collaboration, and freedom to explore, helping children develop creativity while forming friendships with peers who share their love of the arts.

Each day includes in-studio creative projects and outdoor time, with opportunities for independent exploration as well as collaborative work. Students are introduced to a diverse range of artists and artforms from across cultures and history, showing them how their own work connects to a wider world of creativity.

We also go on outings to interesting places to inspire our creative projects, and to make meaningful connections. Along the way, students build curiosity, creative confidence, and a joyful connection to their own artistic process.

Wordsmiths: Language Arts Day

ages 8-12

Wordsmiths invites young writers and thinkers to explore the art of language through playful creativity and thoughtful expression. Through games, creative prompts, and collaborative workshops, children explore their own ideas, interests, and experiences through writing that feels meaningful and relevant to them. They experiment with different styles and genres — from poetry and lyrics to theatre scenes and short stories, and are inspired by different artforms like visual art and music — discovering new ways to express themselves and connect with others through words.

Wordsmiths blends language arts with imagination and artistry. Together, we celebrate creativity, curiosity, and the power of language to express and share our perceptions and perspectives.

Artmakers: Visual Arts Day

ages 7-12

Artmakers encourages children to experiment, create, and bring their ideas to life in visual form. Students are introduced to a variety of materials, techniques, and concepts —and are supported as they explore drawing, painting, collage, printmaking, sculpture, fibre arts, and mixed media. Plenty of time for process-oriented projects encourages problem solving, and builds skills and confidence in their artistic expression.

Artmakers celebrates imagination, creativity, and the process of discovery and learning through making — nurturing each child as a curious, growing artist.
