Evergreen Art Studio is a relaxed, supportive space for creative exploration, for both children and adults. Each class includes an introduction to art materials, guidance on technique, and plenty of encouragement to experiment, explore, and make your own creative choices. Evergreen Studio is located in my home by Hampton Park in Ottawa. Exact address will be given upon registration. Please note: two friendly cats live here too!

Winter Art Classes for Kids

This winter, kids are invited to get creative with watercolours, fibre arts, and mixed-media fun! These engaging art classes encourage imagination, exploration, and joyful expression through favourite materials and new techniques.

Evergreen Connections: Full-Day Arts Enrichment

At Evergreen Connections, children spend full days immersed in creative exploration and meaningful learning. Through Artmakers, students develop skills and confidence in the visual arts, while Wordsmiths invites them to experiment with language and written expression. Both programs encourge curiosity and inspire creative confidence, while offering opportunities to share ideas, collaborate, and build friendships through creativity.

PA Day and March Break Camps

Registation is now open for creative camps for ages 7+ including PA days and March Break 2026!

Felting Workshops for Adults

Join Susie in the Evergreen Studio for a creative and calming felting experience. Each workshop offers the chance to slow down, connect with beautiful natural fibres, and learn the art of either needle felting or wet felting. Using wool, silk, and other luxurious materials, you'll be guided step by step while adding your own creative touches to make each piece uniquely your own.

Small classes and workshops typically take place in my home studio near Hampton Park (full address details provided upon registration).

Please note:

The studio is upstairs (access via one flight of stairs)
Two friendly cats live here

If you have mobility issues or cat allergies, I can bring certain projects or lessons to your space or a more accessible space instead.
